- Preheat your oven to 375°F or air fryer to 350°F.
- Whisk together melted butter, packed brown sugar, granulated sugar, and ground cinnamon in a medium bowl.
- Slice the tops off each apple and core them, then make thin crosswise cuts down the sides.
- Stuff each prepared apple with two chewy caramel squares and brush the butter mixture over them.
- Bake for about 30 minutes in the oven or approximately 20 minutes in the air fryer until tender.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving warm, topped with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce.
