Ingredients
  

  • 2 heads of broccoli cut into florets
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds optional
  • 2 green onions sliced (optional)

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  2. In a large bowl, combine olive oil, sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Whisk until well mixed.
  3. Add the broccoli florets to the bowl and toss until they are evenly coated with the sauce mixture.
  4. Spread the broccoli in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the broccoli is tender and slightly crispy on the edges. Stir halfway through for even roasting.
  6. If desired, sprinkle sesame seeds and sliced green onions over the broccoli before serving.
  7. Serve immediately as a side dish or a healthy snack.
