Marinade Preparation
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic powder, ground ginger, and a pinch of black pepper.
- Add the boneless skinless chicken thighs to the marinade, ensuring each piece is thoroughly coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let the chicken marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
- While the chicken is marinating, preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- After marinating, remove the chicken thighs from the marinade and allow any excess sauce to drip off. Drizzle a little olive oil over the thighs.
- Place the marinated chicken thighs in the air fryer basket in a single layer and cook for 25 to 30 minutes, flipping them halfway through.
- Once cooked, remove the chicken thighs from the air fryer and let them rest for 5 minutes. Drizzle any remaining sauce on top and garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
