- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, gently combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, finely chopped onion, egg, salt, and black pepper.
- Shape the meat mixture into a loaf and place it in a greased baking dish.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the ketchup and packed brown sugar until smooth.
- Spread half of the glaze over the top of the meatloaf and bake for 45 minutes.
- After 45 minutes, remove the meatloaf and spread the remaining glaze on top. Bake for an additional 15 minutes.
- Once done, allow the meatloaf to rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
