Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, gently combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, finely chopped onion, egg, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Shape the meat mixture into a loaf and place it in a greased baking dish.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together the ketchup and packed brown sugar until smooth.
  5. Spread half of the glaze over the top of the meatloaf and bake for 45 minutes.
  6. After 45 minutes, remove the meatloaf and spread the remaining glaze on top. Bake for an additional 15 minutes.
  7. Once done, allow the meatloaf to rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
