- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Prepare a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Cut 12 slices of thick-cut bacon in half to create 24 pieces.
- In a mixing bowl, combine 1/4 cup of brown sugar, 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper, and 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder.
- Wrap each mozzarella stick with half a slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
- Roll each wrapped stick in the brown sugar mixture until coated.
- Arrange the coated sticks on the baking sheet with space in between.
- Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until bacon is crispy and mozzarella is melted.
