  • 1 box Chocolate Cake Mix Use gluten-free if desired.
  • 3 large Eggs Beaten well.
  • 1/2 cup Oil Can substitute with melted butter.
For the Cream Cheese Layer
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese Softened, can substitute with Greek yogurt.
  • 1/2 cup Sugar To sweeten the cream cheese.
For the Strawberries
  • 2 cups Strawberries Fresh or thawed frozen, drained.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a bundt pan.
  2. Gather all your ingredients: chocolate cake mix, eggs, oil, cream cheese, strawberries, and sugar.
Mix Ingredients
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine chocolate cake mix, eggs, and oil until well blended. Transfer half of this batter into the bundt pan.
Prepare Cream Cheese Layer
  1. Beat together cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Pour this mixture over the first layer of cake batter in the bundt pan.
Add Strawberries
  1. Wash and slice the strawberries. Scatter them over the cream cheese layer and cover with the remaining chocolate cake batter.
Bake the Cake
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
Cool the Cake
  1. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then invert onto a wire rack to cool completely.
Serve and Enjoy
  1. Slice and serve at room temperature. Garnish with fresh strawberries or whipped cream if desired.
