For the Sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic Minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce Use gluten-free tamari if needed
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger Grated
Optional Spice
  • 1 teaspoon red chili flakes Adjust to taste
To Thicken the Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch Mixed with 2 tablespoons of water to create a slurry
For Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons green onions Chopped
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Method
 

Cooking Steps
  1. Cook the rice noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside, tossing with oil to prevent sticking.
  2. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat, add minced garlic and grated ginger, and sauté for about 1 minute.
  3. Add diced chicken to the skillet, cooking for 5-7 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, and cornstarch slurry. Pour over the chicken and simmer for 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens.
  5. Add the cooked noodles to the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Garnish with optional red chili flakes, sesame seeds, and chopped green onions, then serve.
