- Start by rinsing the spring mix salad greens under cool water, removing any dirt or residues. Using a salad spinner or clean kitchen towel, gently spin or pat the greens dry.
- Incorporate the halved cherry tomatoes, sliced cucumber, and thinly sliced red onion into the bowl with the spring mix greens.
- Take a small skillet and heat it over medium heat. Add the chopped walnuts or pecans, toasting them for 1-2 minutes, stirring frequently.
- In a small bowl or mason jar, combine the balsamic vinegar, honey, and extra-virgin olive oil. Whisk or shake the mixture until it becomes glossy.
