  • 1 teaspoon Salt adjust to taste

  • 1/2 cup Water no substitute necessary
  • 1/4 cup Balsamic Vinegar experiment with different vinegars
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce opt for low-sodium
  • 1/4 cup Sugar brown sugar as a substitute
  • 1/4 cup Chili Sauce customize spice level
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced fresh garlic recommended
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger, minced fresh preferred
  • 1 teaspoon Curry Powder or substitute with similar spice
  • 2 tablespoons Lime Juice fresh is highly recommended

  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Seeds (toasted) for addition of crunch

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Sprinkle half of the salt on them.
  3. Bake the wings for 20 minutes, then flip and sprinkle with remaining salt. Bake for another 20 minutes.
  4. In a skillet, combine water, balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, sugar, chili sauce, garlic, ginger, curry powder, and lime juice. Bring to a simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  5. Add the baked wings to the skillet and coat in the sauce. Cook for 2-3 minutes until well-coated.
  6. Remove from heat, transfer to a serving plate, and garnish with optional toppings.
