Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped bacon until crispy and golden brown, about 6-8 minutes.
  3. Add the diced onion to the skillet with the bacon drippings and sauté for 4-5 minutes until soft and translucent.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine the baked beans, cooked bacon, sautéed onions, brown sugar, BBQ sauce, mustard, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
  5. Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish and bake for 30-40 minutes until the top is golden brown.
