Baking Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mash the ripe bananas in a large mixing bowl until mostly smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together melted butter, eggs, and milk, then fold into the mashed bananas.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, ground cinnamon, granulated sugar, and brown sugar.
- Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Grease a standard loaf pan and pour the batter into it.
- If desired, mix sugar and cinnamon for the topping and sprinkle over the batter.
- Bake for 50 to 60 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
- Let the bread cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
