Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the Slow Cooker: Spray the inside of your slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray. Place the chicken breasts in a single layer.
  2. Mix the Marinade: In a bowl, combine garlic, lemon juice, onion, water, olive oil, vinegar, oregano, allspice, and lemon pepper. Stir well.
  3. Marinate the Chicken: Pour the marinade over the chicken, cover, and set to HIGH for 3-4 hours or LOW for 6-8 hours.
  4. Prepare the Tzatziki Sauce: Mix together yogurt, garlic, cucumber, parsley, and salt. Refrigerate for at least one hour.
  5. Shred the Chicken: Once cooked, shred the chicken in the slow cooker using two forks and mix it with the juices.
  6. Assemble the Gyros: Fill a warm pocketless pita with shredded chicken, tzatziki, and your favorite veggies.
