Step-by-Step Instructions for Rosemary Lemon Chicken Patties
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, fresh rosemary, lemon zest, breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape each into a patty approximately 3 inches in diameter.
  3. Heat a couple of tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  4. Add the shaped patties to the skillet and cook undisturbed for 4-5 minutes on one side until golden brown. Flip and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes.
  5. Check the internal temperature of the patties using a meat thermometer; it should reach a minimum of 165°F (75°C).
  6. Transfer the cooked patties to a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess oil and let them rest for a minute.
  7. Garnish with fresh rosemary sprigs and serve alongside lemon wedges.
