Step-by-Step Instructions for Rosemary Lemon Chicken Patties
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, fresh rosemary, lemon zest, breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape each into a patty approximately 3 inches in diameter.
- Heat a couple of tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
- Add the shaped patties to the skillet and cook undisturbed for 4-5 minutes on one side until golden brown. Flip and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes.
- Check the internal temperature of the patties using a meat thermometer; it should reach a minimum of 165°F (75°C).
- Transfer the cooked patties to a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess oil and let them rest for a minute.
- Garnish with fresh rosemary sprigs and serve alongside lemon wedges.
