Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, honey, minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, and pepper until combined. Coat the steak thoroughly with the marinade and let it rest for at least 30 minutes at room temperature, or up to 4 hours in the fridge.
  2. While the steak is marinating, prepare the tzatziki sauce. In a separate bowl, combine Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, lemon juice, minced garlic, dill, salt, and pepper. Mix well and cover and refrigerate.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat, then add the marinated steak to the pan. Sear for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked to your desired doneness. Let it rest for 5 minutes.
  4. To assemble your Mediterranean Steak Bowl, layer your cooked grains at the bottom of each bowl. Slice the rested steak thinly and place it on top. Add a variety of fresh vegetables.
  5. Spoon the chilled tzatziki sauce over the steak and vegetables. Optionally sprinkle with crumbled feta cheese and drizzle with olive oil or a vinaigrette.
