Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease your baking dish with olive oil or butter.
  2. Gently wipe the portobello mushrooms with a damp cloth and remove stems.
  3. In a bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, dried thyme, salt, and pepper.
  4. Place the mushrooms in the baking dish and drizzle the garlic mixture into the gill cavities.
  5. Add thin slices of butter on top of each mushroom. Bake for about 15 minutes.
  6. Mix the grated Parmesan and mozzarella cheeses. Distribute over the mushrooms after the initial baking.
  7. Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted and golden brown.
  8. Let cool for a couple of minutes before serving.
