Preheat and Prepare
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a 9x9-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
Make the Crust
- Combine flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
- Pour in melted butter and stir until resembles damp sand. Set aside 1 cup for topping.
- Press remaining mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan. Bake for 10 minutes.
Prepare Filling
- Toss diced apples with flour, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg until evenly coated.
Assemble and Bake
- Spread apple filling evenly over baked crust, drizzle with salted caramel sauce, and sprinkle reserved crumb mixture on top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until topping is golden brown and apples are tender.
Cool and Serve
- Allow bars to cool completely in the pan for 30 minutes to 1 hour. Lift out and slice into squares.
