Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups water
  • 4 black tea bags
  • 1 orange sliced
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1/4 cup honey or to taste
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish optional

Method
 

  1. In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
  2. Once boiling, remove from heat and add the black tea bags. Let steep for 5 minutes.
  3. After steeping, remove the tea bags and stir in the honey until dissolved.
  4. Add the sliced orange and the cinnamon stick to the tea.
  5. Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour to chill.
  6. To serve, fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the chilled tea over the ice.
  7. Garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.
