Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line 18 muffin cups with liners.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a stand mixer, combine the mashed bananas, melted butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  4. Gently add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, mixing just until combined.
  5. Spoon the batter into the muffin cups, filling each about ¾ full. Add a dollop of softened Nutella on top and swirl gently.
  6. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes, checking with a toothpick to see if it comes out clean.
  7. Allow muffins to cool in the pan for 15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
