Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line 18 muffin cups with liners.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- In a stand mixer, combine the mashed bananas, melted butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
- Gently add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, mixing just until combined.
- Spoon the batter into the muffin cups, filling each about ¾ full. Add a dollop of softened Nutella on top and swirl gently.
- Bake for 15 to 18 minutes, checking with a toothpick to see if it comes out clean.
- Allow muffins to cool in the pan for 15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
