Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup chocolate protein powder
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Method
 

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cottage cheese, rolled oats, cocoa powder, honey (or maple syrup), chocolate protein powder, mini chocolate chips, vanilla extract, and salt.
  2. Mix all the ingredients together until well combined and a thick batter forms. You can use a spatula or your hands for easier mixing.
  3. Once the mixture is well combined, use your hands to form small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Place the protein bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Refrigerate the bites for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  6. After chilling, enjoy immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
