- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and fluffy.
- Beat in the lightly beaten egg and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing just until a dough forms.
