Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Gather loaf pans.
  2. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and baking powder in a large mixing bowl.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk the white and dark brown sugars until smooth, then add eggs, oil, milk, bourbon, maple extract, and vanilla.
  4. Stir in the mashed bananas until well combined.
  5. Fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just incorporated.
  6. Fold in the chopped toffee.
  7. Grease the loaf pans lightly.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared pans.
  9. Bake for approximately 55-60 minutes for the standard loaf, testing with a toothpick.
  10. Cool the loaves in the pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
