Method

  5. Bake for 20 minutes, flipping halfway for even cooking.
  6. Turn on the broiler and broil for an additional 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Rinse and drain black beans.
  8. Layer the baked sweet potatoes with black beans and shredded cheese, then return to oven until cheese melts.
