Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
- In a bowl, beat ½ cup of softened butter with 1 cup of sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add in 2 large eggs, one at a time, then stir in 3 mashed bananas, ¼ cup of milk, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together 1½ cups of flour, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, and ½ teaspoon of salt.
- Gradually fold dry ingredients into banana mixture until just combined.
- Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
- Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
