  3. Gradually add the flour, mixing until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Press about two-thirds of the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan.

  6. Drizzle salted caramel sauce generously over the apple filling.
  7. Sprinkle remaining flour mixture over the top.
  8. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes until the topping is golden brown and apples are tender.
