Method

Cooking Steps
  1. Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Add the bowtie pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. Sear the Chicken: Season chicken with salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning. Heat oil or butter in a skillet, cook chicken for 5-7 minutes until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  3. Sauté the Aromatics: In the same skillet, add garlic and sun-dried tomatoes. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Deglaze the Pan: Pour in chicken broth, scraping up browned bits. Bring to a gentle boil, reducing slightly for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Create the Cream Sauce: Reduce heat, stir in heavy cream, simmer for 3-4 minutes. Gradually mix in Parmesan cheese until smooth.
  6. Combine Chicken and Pasta: Return chicken to skillet, add pasta, toss for 2-3 minutes over low heat to coat.
  7. Garnish and Serve: Remove from heat, serve on plates garnished with basil or parsley.
