- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, mix together the chocolate cake mix, eggs, and oil until smooth.
- Gently fold in the well-drained strawberries and half of the chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips on top.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes until the edges pull away from the pan and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for at least 20 minutes, then prepare the frosting.
