- In a mixing bowl, combine pancake mix, milk, egg, and vegetable oil. Stir gently and fold in maple syrup. Let batter rest.
- Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it. Pour ¼ cup of batter into a ring mold and cook for 2-3 minutes until bubbles form. Flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
- In the same skillet, crack an egg using the ring mold and season with salt. Cover and cook for 2-3 minutes until set.
- Cook your choice of breakfast meat in the skillet until browned and heated through, about 3-5 minutes.
- Assemble your McGriddle with a pancake, cheese slice, egg, and breakfast meat, topped with another pancake. Serve warm.
