Baking Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a standard loaf pan.
- Mash the ripe bananas in a mixing bowl until smooth, then add Greek yogurt, honey, egg, and vanilla extract until combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together whole wheat flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
- Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Fold in optional walnuts or chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 50 to 60 minutes.
- Allow the bread to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.
