Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prep the Turkey: Allow your turkey to reach room temperature for about 1 hour and pat it dry for a crispy skin.

  3. Season the Cavity: Generously season inside the turkey with kosher salt and black pepper, stuffing it with onion, lemon, and fresh herbs.
  4. Make Herb Butter: Combine softened butter, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and herbs in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  5. Apply the Herb Butter: Loosen the turkey skin and rub a third of the herb butter underneath, coating the exterior with the rest.

  7. Roast the Turkey: Roast in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes per pound until it reaches an internal temp of 158°F-160°F.
