Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Pat the chicken thighs dry and season with salt and pepper.
  2. In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Sear chicken skin-side down for 6-8 minutes.
  3. In a bowl, combine Parmesan, Italian seasoning, paprika, and red pepper flakes. Mince garlic.
  4. Flip the chicken after 6-8 minutes and sear the second side for 2-3 minutes, then remove from skillet.
  5. Lower heat to medium-low, add remaining butter to the skillet. Sauté minced garlic for 60 seconds.
  6. Return chicken to the skillet. Spoon garlic-butter mixture over and sprinkle with the Parmesan mixture.
  7. Transfer skillet to the oven and bake for 15-18 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  8. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes, garnish with parsley, then serve immediately.
