Equipment

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by taking your ribeye steaks out of the fridge and letting them reach room temperature for about 30 minutes. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat a heavy skillet over medium-high heat for about 2-3 minutes. Add 2 tablespoons of butter and allow it to melt. Sear the seasoned steak for 4-5 minutes.
  3. Flip the steak, add remaining butter and garlic to the skillet, and cook for another 4-5 minutes, basting the steak.
  4. Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes on a cutting board.
  5. Lower heat to medium, pour in heavy cream, and whisk while scraping up browned bits. Cook for about 2 minutes.
  6. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and sauce thickens, about 3-4 minutes. Season as needed.
  7. Slice the rested steak and drizzle the sauce over it. Garnish with parsley. Serve with sides.
