Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, then drain and set aside.
  2. Season chicken with paprika, salt, pepper, and chili flakes. Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a skillet and cook chicken for 5-7 minutes per side until cooked through.
  3. Add another tablespoon of butter and minced garlic to the skillet, stir until fragrant, then remove chicken and leave the garlic butter in the pan.
  4. Add olive oil and remaining butter to the same skillet, then pour in heavy cream, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and nutmeg. Simmer for 3-5 minutes until thickened.
  5. Stir in grated Parmesan until melted, adjust sauce thickness with reserved pasta water, then add cooked pasta, tossing to coat.
  6. Slice chicken into bite-sized pieces and arrange over pasta. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
