- Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, then drain and set aside.
- Season chicken with paprika, salt, pepper, and chili flakes. Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a skillet and cook chicken for 5-7 minutes per side until cooked through.
- Add another tablespoon of butter and minced garlic to the skillet, stir until fragrant, then remove chicken and leave the garlic butter in the pan.
- Add olive oil and remaining butter to the same skillet, then pour in heavy cream, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and nutmeg. Simmer for 3-5 minutes until thickened.
- Stir in grated Parmesan until melted, adjust sauce thickness with reserved pasta water, then add cooked pasta, tossing to coat.
- Slice chicken into bite-sized pieces and arrange over pasta. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
