Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Marinate the Chicken: In a large bowl, mix chicken strips with soy sauce, olive oil, and pepper. Marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Parboil the Potatoes: Boil salted water, add chopped potatoes and cook for about 8 minutes until tender. Drain well.
  3. Sauté the Potatoes: In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter, add parboiled potatoes, and sauté for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Cook the Chicken: Add 2 tablespoons of butter and minced garlic to the skillet, cook for 30 seconds. Then add marinated chicken and cook for 2 minutes on each side.
  5. Combine and Heat Through: Return potatoes to the skillet, pour in reserved marinade, toss, and heat through for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Serve and Garnish: Transfer to a serving platter, garnish with chili flakes and Parmesan cheese if desired, and serve hot.
