Step-by-Step Instructions for Cheese and Bacon Rolls
  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (390°F) and line a baking sheet with baking paper.
  2. Cook diced bacon in a frying pan over medium heat until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Let it cool.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine sifted self-raising flour and Greek yogurt. Mix until a cohesive, slightly sticky dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 1-2 minutes until smooth. Avoid over-kneading.
  5. Divide the dough into four balls and flatten each slightly on the baking sheet.
  6. Sprinkle the cooled bacon and grated cheese on top of each flattened roll.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving warm, ideally with eggs or a fresh salad.
