Bread Instructions
- In a spacious mixing bowl, add 3 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 tablespoon of sugar, 1 teaspoon of fine sea salt, and 1 teaspoon of active dry yeast. Stir together until well combined.
- Gradually pour in 1.5 cups of warm water into the dry ingredients. Stir until a shaggy, sticky dough begins to form.
- Cover the bowl tightly and let it rest at room temperature for 12 to 18 hours.
- Lightly sprinkle flour on a surface and turn the dough out onto it. Gently fold the edges towards the center to shape it into a round ball.
- Preheat a covered Dutch oven to 450°F (232°C) for about 30 minutes.
- Carefully place the shaped dough in the hot Dutch oven, cover with the lid, and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the lid and bake for another 15 minutes until golden brown.
