Ingredients
  

  • 2 6-ounce salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons white miso paste
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon chopped green onions for garnish
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the miso paste, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, rice vinegar, ginger, and garlic until smooth.
  3. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the miso mixture generously over the top of each fillet.
  4. Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and is cooked through.
  5. Remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
  6. Serve immediately with steamed rice and vegetables for a complete meal.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add a teaspoon of sriracha to the miso mixture.
