- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and yeast. Whisk together until blended. Slowly pour in warm water and olive oil. Stir until a shaggy dough forms.
- Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the kneaded dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm spot for about 1 hour until doubled in size.
- Gently punch down the risen dough, add cheddar cheese and jalapeños, and fold in carefully.
