Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and yeast. Whisk together until blended. Slowly pour in warm water and olive oil. Stir until a shaggy dough forms.
  2. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.

  4. Gently punch down the risen dough, add cheddar cheese and jalapeños, and fold in carefully.
  5. Shape the dough into a log and place it in a greased loaf pan. Cover with a cloth and let rise for 30 minutes.
