Ingredients

  • 1 box 15.25 oz chocolate cake mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 8 oz package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 16 oz box powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

  5. Stir in the milk and vanilla extract until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture over the cake batter. Use a knife or spatula to swirl the cream cheese mixture into the cake batter gently.
  7. Sprinkle the chocolate chips evenly over the top.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the edges are set but the center is still slightly gooey.
