Ingredients

  • 2 cups refrigerated pizza dough
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes optional
  • 1 egg beaten (for egg wash)
  • Marinara sauce for dipping

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick. Cut the dough into 2-inch squares.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and crushed red pepper flakes. Mix well.
  4. Place a tablespoon of the cheese and pepperoni mixture in the center of each dough square. Fold the corners of the dough over the filling and pinch to seal tightly, forming a ball.
  5. Arrange the pizza bombs on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with the beaten egg for a golden finish.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the pizza bombs are golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving. Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.
