Ingredients

  • 4 lobster tails about 6 ounces each
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Method

  1. Begin by thawing the lobster tails if they are frozen. Place them in the refrigerator overnight or submerge them in cold water for about 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  3. Using kitchen scissors, carefully cut the top shell of each lobster tail down the center, stopping just before the tail fin. Gently pull the meat out slightly, keeping it attached at the base.
  4. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Once melted, stir in the lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Place the lobster tails in the melted butter, ensuring they are fully submerged. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the lobster meat is opaque and cooked through.
  6. Carefully remove the lobster tails from the butter and place them on a baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for an additional 5 minutes to enhance the flavor.
  7. Remove from the oven, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
