Using kitchen scissors, carefully cut the top shell of each lobster tail down the center, stopping just before the tail fin. Gently pull the meat out slightly, keeping it attached at the base.
In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Once melted, stir in the lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
Place the lobster tails in the melted butter, ensuring they are fully submerged. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the lobster meat is opaque and cooked through.
Carefully remove the lobster tails from the butter and place them on a baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for an additional 5 minutes to enhance the flavor.
Remove from the oven, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
