Ingredients

  • 8 ounces of pasta penne or fettuccine
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)

Method

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in a large pot of salted boiling water. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  3. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and beef broth, stirring to combine. Add the Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer and let it cook for about 5 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
  5. Stir in the cooked pasta and grated Parmesan cheese until well combined. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
