Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, and salt in a medium bowl.
  3. Cream unsalted butter with granulated and brown sugars until light and fluffy.
  4. Stir in the egg and vanilla until fully incorporated.
  5. Gradually fold dry ingredients into the wet mixture to form a soft dough.
  6. Shape the dough into small disks, place on the baking sheet, and bake for 10-12 minutes.
  7. Cool cookies on the sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Nest Creation
  1. Melt milk chocolate chips and coconut oil in a microwave, stirring until smooth.
  2. Coat chow mein noodles in melted chocolate and scoop onto cooled cookies to form nests.
  3. Finish by adding pastel candy eggs and colorful sprinkles, and allow to set for 15-20 minutes.
