- In a blender or food processor, combine freshly washed basil leaves, heavy cream, sugar, and gelatin. Blend on high until smooth and creamy, about 2-3 minutes.
- Taste the mousse mixture to adjust sweetness if needed. If it needs more sweetness, add sugar or a natural sweetener and blend briefly.
- Carefully pour the mousse mixture into individual serving glasses or ramekins, filling them about three-quarters full.
- Cover the glasses with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours until set.
- Once set, garnish with fresh berries or drizzle with chocolate sauce before serving.
