Ingredients

For the Pasta Rolls
  • 12 sheets Lasagna noodles Substitute with gluten-free sheets if needed.
  • 1 lb Shrimp Pre-cooked shrimp can save time.
  • 2 cups Fresh spinach Thawed frozen spinach also works well.
  • 15 oz Ricotta cheese Cottage cheese can be a good substitute.
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese Low-fat mozzarella is a lighter option.
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese Consider using nutritional yeast for a dairy-free alternative.
  • 1 large Egg Omit for a vegan option or substitute with a flax egg.
For the Sauce
  • 3 cloves Garlic Adjust the quantity to your taste preference.
  • 2 cups Roasted red peppers Jarred versions simplify preparation.
  • 1 cup Heavy cream You can use half-and-half or a dairy-free cream as a substitute.
  • 1 cup Chicken broth Feel free to use vegetable broth for a pescatarian version.
  • 1 medium Onion Can be omitted for a milder flavor.
  • 1 tbsp Paprika Smoked paprika adds an extra layer of flavor.

  • Medium saucepan
  • large mixing bowl
