- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Gather melted butter, flour, sugar, and an 8x8 inch baking pan.
- In a medium bowl, combine 1 cup of granulated sugar, melted butter, and 1 cup of all-purpose flour until it forms coarse crumbs.
- Press half of the crumb mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking pan to create the base.
- In a separate bowl, fold together the chopped fresh rhubarb with the remaining sugar, then spread evenly over the pressed crust.
