Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside to cool slightly.
  2. Cook the Chicken: Heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet. Season chicken with salt and pepper. Sauté for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Slice thinly.
  3. Prepare the Vegetables: Wash and chop the romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces. Halve the cherry tomatoes.
  4. Combine Ingredients: In the bowl with cooked pasta, add chicken, romaine, tomatoes, and croutons. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese and drizzle with Caesar dressing. Toss gently.
  5. Taste and Adjust: Taste the salad and adjust seasoning with salt or pepper. Optionally, add toasted pine nuts on top.
  6. Serve and Garnish: Transfer to a serving platter or bowls and garnish with fresh basil or parsley before serving.
