Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Sweet Cinnamon Twists
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. On a floured surface, roll out the defrosted puff pastry into a rectangle, about 9x12 inches and 1/8 inch thick.
  3. In a small bowl, combine ¼ cup of granulated sugar with 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon, mixing until well blended.
  4. Brush the rolled puff pastry with the melted butter, spreading it evenly across the surface.
  5. Evenly sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture on top of the buttered pastry, pressing it down gently.
  6. Slice the pastry into strips about 1 inch wide, then twist each strip several times and place on the lined baking sheet.
