- In a large mixing bowl, combine quick oats, nut butter, honey, and protein powder using a spatula or wooden spoon. Mix until all ingredients are fully incorporated and the texture is slightly sticky, about 2–3 minutes.
- If desired, fold in 1/2 cup of dark chocolate chips or dried fruits to the mixture for added sweetness and flavor.
- Using your hands, scoop out approximately 1 tablespoon of the mixture and roll it into a ball, about 1 inch in diameter. Place each ball on a parchment-lined tray.
- Once all the energy balls are rolled, refrigerate the tray for at least 30 minutes.
- Transfer your chilled energy balls into an airtight container for storage. They can last in the fridge for up to 2 weeks or can be frozen for up to 3 months.
