  • 2 cloves Fresh Garlic Minced.
  • 1 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese Half used in the meatloaf and half for topping.
  • 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs Plain or Italian-seasoned.
  • 2 large Large Eggs Acts as a binder.
  • 1 cup Diced Onion Sautéed until soft.
  • 1 tablespoon Low-Sodium Soy Sauce Adjust salt levels as needed.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Season to taste.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper Adjust according to preference.
For the Topping
  • 1/2 cup Additional Grated Parmesan Cheese Sprinkled on top before baking.

Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking dish by greasing it with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, add your diced onions and sauté for about 5 minutes until soft and translucent.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, sautéed onions, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, eggs, soy sauce, salt, pepper, and half of the grated Parmesan cheese. Mix gently.
  4. Transfer the mixture into the greased baking dish and shape it into a loaf.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining grated Parmesan cheese over the top of the shaped meatloaf.
  6. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 45-50 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  7. Once baked, remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
