Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha adjust for spice preference
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice

Method

  1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  2. Set up a breading station: dip each piece of chicken in the flour mixture, then into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with panko breadcrumbs.
  3. Heat about 1 inch of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully add the breaded chicken pieces in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan.
  4. Fry until golden brown and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and lime juice until smooth.
  6. Once the chicken is cooked, toss it in the Bang Bang sauce until well coated. Serve immediately.
